Immigrant’s Day: 2025
December 12–18: National Week of Action for Immigrants
From CHIRLA’s Lady of Guadalupe Day Celebration on December 12 to International Migrants Day actions on December 18, Fair Immigration Movement (FIRM) members, with 38 immigrant rights organizations across 32 states, are mobilizing people of faith and good conscience nationwide to call out President Trump’s mass deportation plans.
In 25 cities across the country, more than 100,000 people will join us in upholding the dignity, safety, and rights of immigrants. While Trump and his enablers of mass cruelty and separation continue their racist attacks on our communities, we choose dignity over fear, compassion over cruelty, and justice over hate
We Demand:
An end to unjust arrests, rushed deportations, and due-process violations.
That corporations profiting from ICE’s unprecedented $170 billion budget, eagerly doing Trump’s dirty work by ramping up mass detentions, raids, and surveillance, end their complicity.
The growing violence against concerned community members who show up to ensure the due process of immigrants is being upheld ends.
We are united, hand in hand, shoulder to shoulder — as immigrants, allies, and people of faith, to protect our immigrant neighbors during this week of action and beyond.
Join us as we protect our immigrant neighbors and build a future rooted in human rights and belonging.
