May Day: 2025

One Struggle, One Fight, All Workers Unite

Working people power this country. WE keep our communities running. We are coming together to demand all hands on deck to fight for our collective rights, safety and futures!

May 1st is International Workers Day, but the fight goes deeper than labor.

Immigrants are workers, and workers are immigrants. Our fight for fair wages, safe workplaces, and dignity on the job is the same fight for immigrant justice.

International Workers Day reminds us that labor rights and immigrant rights are intertwined. Immigrant workers are the backbone of key industries—yet they face disproportionate exploitation, wage theft, and unsafe conditions. A strong labor movement means standing against workplace abuses, deportations, and policies that divide workers, and standing up for immigrant rights.

Only by uniting can we fight and win. Workers keep this country running. We are the ones sweating, sacrificing, and building a better future. Billionaires sit back and watch us struggle, hoping that we turn against each other. We must expose their tactics because they divide us with fear while they hoard wealth and power. United, we can take it back.

Our power is strongest when we unite across the local, state, and federal levels, demanding policies that protect and uplift immigrant communities. State legislators must continue leading on pro-immigrant policies, especially when the federal government falls short.

WHY SHOULD I ATTEND AN EVENT?
